Overview of Spa Facial Services
A spa facial is a professional skincare treatment designed to cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate, and revitalize the skin. This treatment may include the application of targeted products such as masks and serums to address specific skin concerns. A facial may also incorporate massage techniques on the face, neck, shoulders, and décolleté to encourage relaxation and enhance circulation. Proper draping will be provided by the licensed esthetician to ensure comfort and privacy throughout the session. The goal of each facial is to leave the skin feeling refreshed, nourished, and rejuvenated.
Professional Boundaries & Mutual Respect
Our practice is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment. All clients are expected to maintain appropriate conduct at all times. Any behavior, comments, or advances of a sexual or inappropriate nature will result in the immediate termination of the session and possible dismissal from future services.
Grounds for Refusal or Discontinuation of Service
An esthetician reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services for the following reasons:
-
Inappropriate Client Behavior: This includes verbal or physical abuse, sexual misconduct, intoxication, or any behavior that disrupts a professional and safe atmosphere.
-
Health and Safety Concerns: If a client discloses medical or personal information that suggests the service may not be safe for them or others, the esthetician may decline or discontinue the treatment.
-
Out-of-Scope Requests: Estheticians are licensed to perform specific services within a defined scope of practice. Requests for medical advice, diagnosis, or services beyond this scope will be respectfully declined.
-
Unrealistic Expectations or Psychological Unsuitability: Clients exhibiting unrealistic expectations or signs of psychological concerns such as body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) may be referred to other professionals, and services may be discontinued as appropriate.
-
Violation of Cancellation/No-Show Policies: Frequent late cancellations or missed appointments may result in termination of the client relationship in accordance with the salon’s cancellation policy.
-
Consistent Disrespect or Disruption: Continued failure to respect staff, policies, or the overall environment may lead to a suspension or termination of services.
